bnai mitzvah

Annie Nagel - November 20, 2005

Hi. My name is Annie Nagel. I will be celebrating my Bat Mitzvah on November 20, 2004. For my Tikkun Olam project, I volunteered at the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter. I cleaned the cages of cats, dogs, small rodents, and birds.

I'm an eighth grader at Mountain Shadows Middle School. I'm in a program called Expeditionary Learning. The idea is that learning is taught outside the four classroom walls. We go on about 15 field trips a year. A week after my Bat Mitzvah I will be backpacking in Yosemite.

I do tap dancing every Tuesday night for two hours. I'm in the advanced and the intermediate classes. I also do softball in the spring. Last year my team was undefeated!

Since before I can remember, I wanted to be a veterinarian. I loved animals and I still do. I even practiced, like when I cut my cats whiskers off.

I live with my brother, James, my mom, Molli, my dad, Jimmy, and my dog, Lucy.
