About adult learning at Ner Shalom
Ner Shalom is proud to offer a variety of learning opportunities for the members of our community and friends. Since 2020, nearly all our offerings have been on Zoom, making a wide range of learning (and an eager learning community) available to you, anywhere in the world, with the click of a button.
We offer classes on basic elements of Judaism, as well as frequent offerings on Jewish mysticism. We have offered classes on Torah, Talmud, grief and loss, and artistic expression. And every month Reb Irwin offers his beloved Yiddish Tish, reading the work of Yiddish poets and writers in the original.
Every Shavuot we create a Tikkun Leyl Shavuot – a late night opportunity to study with some of our congregation's and our community’s wonderful teachers.
For information about current offerings, look at the Ner Shalom calendar, subscribe to the weekly Ner Shalom eNewsletter.

The playlist includes classes taught by Gesher Calmenson, Basha Hirschfeld, and of course our own Rabbi Irwin Keller, along with a delightful conversation between Reb Irwin and Rabbi George Gittleman as he contemplates the end of his 28 year tenure at Congregation Shomrei Torah.
