Seudah Shlishit is one of our loveliest rituals, even though many modern American Jews have never heard of it. We gather for the last hours of Shabbat. We eat food, tell stories and sing some of our most poignant music.
For this Seudah Shlishit, we not only honor Shabbat, but our special guest, Rabbi Deborah Waxman, president of our movement, Reconstructing Judaism, who is visiting the Bay Area for the weekend.
Enjoy some words from her, some from Reb Irwin, and a full slate of stunning music led by our Good Shabbos Band.
Feel free to bring a vegetarian potluck item – sweets and light nosherei are ideal.
