This is the time of our brokenness. Tisha B’Av commemorates the destruction of our Temple in Jerusalem in 586 BCE and again in 70 CE. At this gathering we will briefly chant from Eychah, the Book of Lamentations, and then sit for a silent meditation together in order to allow ourselves to hold the immensity of grief that is around us and in us.
