Torah of the Body: How Does the Shekhinah Dwell Within Us?
Led by Sally Churgel, Energy Worker & General Joy-Maker Magician
In our tradition, prayers come during and after the washing of hands. Washing has taken on profound significance for safety during this pandemic. Another way to stay safe is to reduce your stress.
Our body carries the wisdom of our ancestors in our cells. The Torah is in our genetics and accessible through awareness. This class will provide an opportunity for you to dive deeply into body awareness to discover how you unconsciously carry stress and fear in your body, then recognize and release it. The tools you practice in the class will be easy to use later if you choose. And even if you only release it one time, your body memory of releasing the fear will remain with you.
This class will ask of you to attend deeply to your body. Prepare by dressing comfortably, getting a chair set up near your computer or phone and limit all distractions during the class time. Let yourself have an hour-plus of discovery and deep peace.
We will be gathering for this session virtually on Zoom. If you haven’t ever used Zoom, go to zoom.us and download the little bit of software you need.
