Led by Sally Churgel and Sheridan Gold
Another year of masks, isolation and loss - personally and globally. Most of us have tried to keep our spirits lifted and stay as positive as possible. Yet, the grief remains inside, and all around. In our rich tradition we typically offer many times and ways to grieve together as a community. This, too, has been limited.
So how do you move into renewal if you are still holding grief? This afternoon will be held in sacred ritual space for you to find an opportunity to move toward a gentle, artful communion with your soul. Together we will use music, poetry and art for a deeper understanding of how loss has impacted you and to develop an avenue for repair. You will create a SoulCollage® card to visually see your losses and a renewal card to nurture, soothe and potentially guide you toward healing.
You will need on hand:
A few magazines, old calendars, books you are willing to cut up
A 5 x 8 inch card or thick paper
Scissors
Glue stick or glue
Journal or notepaper
Pen
Optional: Altar with photos, items from beloveds or flowers, stones, etc.
This event will be held on Zoom. The link will be in our weekly eBlast.
