Led by Shoshana Fershtman
In Elul, we begin the process of teshuvah (return), preparing our souls for the powerful rebirth we undergo during the Days of Awe. The Hebrew letters that spell out the name of the Jewish month Elul are an acronym for the phrase from Song of Songs: ‘Ani L’dodi V’dodi Li‘ – I Am My Beloved’s, My Beloved is Mine.
In the mystical view, the Divine Presence comes and dwells among us, closer to us than at any other time of the year. We will explore the Divine Feminine as a guide to healing, through Binah as a guide to teshuvah.
Drawing on the spiritual wisdom of the mystical tradition, guided meditation, music, artmaking, journaling, we will play in the field with the Beloved, as our soul deepens its journey towards transformation and renewal.
Please bring a journal and pen and/or artmaking supplies.
