Countywide Yom HaShoah Commemoration

  • Zoom only link sent to registrants United States (map)

Step by Step . . . towards . . . Never Again!

We join with the congregations and Jewish agencies of Sonoma County to commemorate the Shoah and to honor the survivors and descendants in our community.

The program includes speakers sharing their experiences and words from local students. The commemoration will also highlight the work being done by The Story Project and the Alliance for the Study of the Holocaust and Genocide. This is the work being done behind the scenes, step by step, to heal the divisiveness and intolerance in today’s world.

There will be musical performances, as well as candle lighting by Jewish survivors; and lighters honoring the Roma, Gays and Lesbians, Disabled, Righteous Gentiles, and Political Activists, as well as those targeted by genocide today.

The program will be held on Zoom. Registration is required. Follow the link below to register and to add names to the Memorial Book (Memorial Book deadline is April 1.
