Lucas says, “In my Torah portion, Moses asks to see HaShem’s face but is only allowed to see the back of their head. I find it interesting that my portion is mythological in the way that Moses and HaShem interact. In my third Aliyah, you may recognize a prayer that is recited on the High Holy Days.”
