Join us for a conversation between Reb Irwin and Ner Shalom member Beverly Voloshin. Bev is a Professor Emerita in English at San Francisco State and currently teaches at universities in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. She was teaching in East Jerusalem last October 7 when the war broke out, and continues to teach and track her West Bank students via Zoom.

Reb Irwin and Bev will discuss the history of the West Bank from 1967 through the present, what it represents, what its residents experience, and what Bev’s own experience has been as an academic teaching young Palestinian college students.
