Using Art to Move from Despair to Resilience

  • Congregation Ner Shalom & zoom room 85 LA PLAZA Cotati United States (map)

A Collage Workshop

Led by Sally Churgel and Sheridan Gold

As Passover approaches, we are charged to celebrate our freedom. Do you have a dilemma this year given the heart wrenching, challenging time for this country. How do we celebrate and feel okay about our own freedom when the foundation of American freedoms seems so shaken? We invite you to join us for an afternoon of creativity and imagery to help navigate this dilemma. In a gentle, guided, and artful way, you will make two collage cards; one will allow you to express your confusion and any triggers you may have about this moment in our history, followed by a second collage that will be of support and potential healing. This method of self-discovery, if done consciously, supports you to nourish your soul in a surprising and elegant manner.

Please join Sally Churgel and Sheridan Gold for this workshop on Sunday April 6, 3-6 pm PDT for this hybrid – in person and zoom class.

In Person: Supplies/snacks will be provided For Zoom: List of Materials will be provided upon registration
