We know that the present political moment is negatively impacting immigrants across the United States. In Sonoma County, there are several ways that we can show up and be in solidarity. We can support the work of VIDAS (Vital Immigrant Defense Advocacy & Services), a non-profit immigration law office that has been representing undocumented folks, including those facing deportation, for more than ten years. We can also take the lead from immigrant-led advocacy organizations, and support the work of providing sanctuary and accompaniment to undocumented folks in our county.
