The Jewish Folk Chorus of San Francisco will be doing its repertoire of Jewish music that includes songs in Yiddish, Hebrew, Ladino at Congregation Ner Shalom Cabaret. Entitled “A Price Beyond Pearls” the concert will include songs by and about women and will be woven together with historical content. Soon to be 100 years old the Chorus performs works that preserve a rich, diverse and deeply satisfying musical heritage including many Yiddish labor songs.
