Introduction to Mussar

  • Ner Shalom 85 La Plaza Cotati, CA, 94931 United States (map)

In this workshop we will explore the practices of Mussar, as well as introducing the fundamental Middot, or soul traits that influence our spiritual growth. Through introspection and self-examination each of us can identify the handful of traits that are operating as hindrances in our own inner lives, and thus pinpoint the curriculum for our personal transformative work.

This is an invitation to journey inwards, to one’s inner landscape, as a means of reconnecting with a deeper more authentic part of ourselves. Using contemporary Mussar texts, as well as experiential learning opportunities we will gather together in a sacred and small group setting.
