Reb Irwin says, “It gives me lots of pleasure and no shortage of jitters to invite you to my smicha – my rabbinic ordination – a day that has been a long time coming. After 5 years in the program, and decades of anticipation before that, I will be ordained by the ALEPH Ordination Program in the lineage of Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, z"l. I am hoping you will share the experience with me.”

The ceremony is on Sunday, January 10th at 4pm Pacific time. Normally, the smicha would have been in Broomfield, CO, but the silver lining of travel restriction is that many more people can attend. The ceremony will stream live, and a link will be available in your eBlast.
