6:45 pm Shmooze; 7:00 pm service
We will welcome Shabbat Shira together. This is the Shabbat where we read in Exodus the great ancient song of the sea. This is the time of celebrating making it across the sea; it is our 'Mi Chamocha Shabbat”. This Shabbat we will gather as a community in the oasis of Elim for a Shabbat repose among the 70 palm trees and the 12 water springs. We celebrate our first service led by Reb Irwin after his crossing of the great sea on his journey to the rabbinate.
This service is sponsored by Shoshana Fershtman and Jeff Hoffman in honor of Reb Irwin’s first Shabbat services as an ordained Rabbi.
